Star of the Show on the Cover of Concrete Surfaces Magazine, USA

Transitions Polishing and Grinding are very proud to be featured on the cover page of Concrete Surfaces Magazine in the USA, highlighting the excellent work completed at the 6-Star Green rated Hill End Ecohouse in Brisbane.

The Hill End Ecohouse is an internationally acclaimed and award winning project, which has over 200 square metres of environmentally friendly Transitions Polished Concrete and Transitions Honed Concrete in the living areas, hallways, bathrooms, theatre room, study and gymnamsium, in addition to an outdoor entertaining area, pool surround and coping, staircase, benchseat and honed concrete garden tiles.

In planning and undertaking the works for this project, Transitions had to go beyond a basic polished/honed concrete solution with a proposal that focused on energy savings, water efficiency, CO² emmissions reduction, VOC levels, product lifecycles and improvement of indoor air quality. 

The results of this project essentially speak for themselves. The process of planning, installing and finishing the floors was a completely environmentally friendly process, not to mention the environmental benefits and performance that this floor will continue to produce for the household in the years to come.
